During an outreach trip in Northern India in 2013 we received a vision for new missional works among the Nations poorest people.
We believe that each human being is created in God's image and therefore has unique gifting and creative potential which is divinely given to fulfill their lives and give them influence among the communities in which they live.
Our mission in India involves raising up the poor and downcast families who live in the slum communities. People who would never be offered an opportunity to rise above the poverty they were born into. We believe there are gifting and abilities laying dormant in these people just waiting for an opportunity to be discovered and released...
There is an old proverb that says
"If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day, but if you teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime."
Through supportive efforts we are pioneering various small business models which our staff will oversee and begin to train poor families who are selected to learn a trade, and one day potentially run a business of their own. We have seen lives changed and the stability of a family's life accomplished with simple discipleship in business ethics and operational vision connected to ones skill sets.
These dreams are big and the opportunities are endless, thousands of families live in extreme poverty, but we can make a difference, one family at time. Our vision is implemented with a self-sustainable strategy to ensure that our primary supportive efforts will be multiplied as business models begin to contribute support to the mission itself as these families become instruments of change to their own culture.
Thank You for supporting this vision.
