We are a group of missional believers whose lives have been radically altered by the presence of the living God, and are filled with passion to reach the Nations.
Our story began in Ventura in 1999. Expression Ministries journey has been one of passionate and abandoned worship and authentic community, knowing God and making Him known. We have been passionate about discipling the nations and equipping a generation of radical worshipers.
Expression connected with YWAM Island Breeze Australia in 2005 during a ministry tour in Fiji, this began a friendship which has led to our our YWAM affiliation and becoming a YWAM University of the Nations training location in 2016. Come be a part of what God is doing in Ventura!

Ventura is a warm a beautiful place to live & encounter God.
A small beach community on the Pacific Coast with a ocean breezes and awesome sunsets, as you view the Channel Islands just offshore. The surf and sand, marine life and ocean breezes, and the beautiful coastal hiking spots are just the beginning... There is a rich missional history and a powerful future that God has given us here.
Downtown Disctrict
There are many eccentric stores and eateries to explore in the downtown area. You can catch a movie or grab some lunch... or just chill at a local coffee house and take it all in.
We have times of ministry in the streets here and along the beach promenade. Sharing the story of God and praying for people in all walks of life. Beautiful encounters are endless!

University of the Nations / YWAM VENTURA
We are small community committed to excellence in life, worship, discipleship and outreaches. Our DTS and DBS Training Schools operate in residential housing and tend to be smaller in numbers as we are limited in space. However, these smaller groups tend go deeper quicker and become more powerful teams, much easier to navigate outreach travel with, and potentially more effective in missions influence.
